I’ll be the first to admit that the idea of a business is enchanting. It charms you with a dream of euphoric idea of a business simply just working and being loved by all. Not to mention it magically making you incredible amounts of money at ease. As nice as this would be, it’s not reality. 

This is especially true when it comes to a service business.
Service businesses are based on things you do for others. Straightforward enough, right?
That’s exactly what makes the barrier exceptionally low and makes anyone think they can just open up shop. Now, I’m not saying this isn’t true. What I’m saying is that this simple belief is what makes it that much more difficult because it automatically saturates the market right away with more options and competition. In a paradoxical way, the relative ease of starting a business is what makes staying in business that much more challenging.

A product based business on the other hand can’t be so casual about opening a shop since there is essential research, product development, packaging, and production expense before going to market.

Unlike a product business, a service business isn’t bound by the tangible. It is special and comes with certain benefits.
On the other hand, a service business is trickier to formulate and sell.
